When I sit and write my blogs I always read over my previous ones. It looks crazy all of these hospital trips and feeling so low. This was my new normal. I hadn’t even taken the kids out much as I was scared to do that alone if Oakley’s stent came out or his oxygen levels dropped.
I knew I had to put my big girls pants on and get over the fear. On the 21st January I got the kids up and out to soft play, which probably doesn’t sound like a big deal to you guys but for me this was huge. I hadn’t taken the kids out all together in a very long time. I was anxious but I needed to do it. It was like being a new mum again, the feeling where you have a new born and you’re frightened to leave your home. There was a lot of equipment to take and also the 4 children but they had such a blast and I got over the fear.
