I’ve shared a lot about my life with you all, but today, I want to talk about something that’s been a deeply personal journey for me—my plastic surgery experience. Opening up about this feels a bit vulnerable, but I believe in being honest and sharing my story with you. I had my first boob job 9 years ago, and it was a decision that came from a place of wanting to feel better about myself.
Growing up, I used to hate my boobs. I didn’t have much of a chest, and I was constantly bullied at school for it. Boys would call me names like “ironing board” or “flat-chested,” as if they had any right to comment on my body. Those words stuck with me, and they hurt more than I let on. Summers were especially hard. While all the other girls were wearing bikinis, I dreaded going to the pool or the beach. I felt like I stood out in the worst way possible, and it made me so self-conscious. I remember hiding behind towels, feeling embarrassed and wishing I could just disappear.
